/e/ Rules

These are placeholder rules for the alpha. The final house rules, the bond and strikes come later.

  1. Only human-verified Ethos users can post. One person, one voice.
  2. Nothing illegal. No doxxing, no posting someone’s private information.
  3. No spam and no flooding. Cooldowns apply: 60 seconds between posts, 10 minutes between new threads.
  4. Moderators can delete any post during the alpha.

How anonymous is it?

Posts never store your Ethos profile. Each post shows an ID that’s the same for you within one thread and different in every other thread. During the alpha the server checks you’re human-verified when you sign in, so you’re trusting Ethos not to look. The zero-knowledge version removes that trust.
